"Whereas the just, whilst in the flesh, look to God as the end of all their deeds and desires, the wicked look to an unlawful end which turns them away from God. Now the separated souls of the just will adhere unchangeably to God as the end to which they looked in this life. Therefore the souls of the wicked will adhere unchangeably to the end which they have chosen for themselves. Hence, as the will of the just will be unchangeable to evil, so the will of the wicked will be unchangeable to the good." — St. Thomas Aquinas
EWTN is reporting the so-called “Coalition of Catholics Against Antisemitism” (CCAA) has been “tapped by the Government of Israel as part of its latest outreach to American Catholics.” A high-ranking Israeli official, Tammy Ben-Haim, met in May with the head of the CCAA Simone Rizkallah in Washington, DC. Rizkallah previously received funding from billionaire, Jewish activist Paul Singer and is currently affiliated with the “Tikvah Fund.” Rizkallah said in the article Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs wanted to “design a trip specifically for Catholic leaders, [so] it made sense that they would reach out to us.”
FromPost tam diuturnastoDignitatis humanae Pius VII —Post tam diuturnas, April 29, 1814 “By the very fact that freedom of all forms of worship without distinction is established, truth is confused with error, and the Church, the holy and immaculate Bride of Christ, outside of which there is no salvation, is placed on the same level as heretical sects and even the perfidy of the Jews. Moreover, by promising favor and support to the sects of heretics and to their ministers, one tolerates and favors not only their persons, but also their errors. This is implicitly the disastrous and ever deplorable heresy which St. Augustine mentions in these words: “It maintains that all heretics are on the right path and speak the truth,” an absurdity so monstrous that I cannot believe that any sect actually professes it.” De Post tam diuturnas à Dignitatis humanae
Thank GOD For the those who are leaking the truth. But it seems some people are not paying attention to any of it. And remaining firm a supporter of the liar in chief. Of course no one (but the few) believed Trump. Time and time again he was proven a liar. Just like the Strait is open each time. It never was after the attack on Iran. He and his minions are playing with the stock market so they can all get richer than they are. No one is thinking of all the money Trump is Hegseth is causing us. Waste of fuel, planes shot down, ships blown up or damaged heavily, the bases and everything on them. And his lying about making more weapons which we can't do without the rare earth's China holds which they will not trade anymore since Trump destroyed the relationship with China. Such a huge mess he has made and still some still turn a blind eye. They have blood on their hands just like this administration. and a lot of it.
Bishop Ángel Javier Pérez Pueyo of Barbastro-Monzón, Spain, has said he would offer his resignation rather than sign a settlement under which the statue of Our Lady of the Angels of Torreciudad remains permanently at the Opus Dei sanctuary. The bishop drew his red line in a public letter on 31 August, ahead of the image’s return to its ancient hermitage on 5 September for the 47th Pilgrimage of the Virgins of Ribagorza and Sobrarbe. That return is temporary. It has been authorized by Archbishop Alejandro Arellano Cedillo, the pontifical commissioner for Torreciudad. After the pilgrimage, the image is due to return to the sanctuary. Bishop Pérez Pueyo’s threat concerns the final settlement: he refuses to accept an arrangement under which the statue remains there permanently and returns to the hermitage only on special occasions. He would "never sign such an unlikely act of plundering your dignity," he wrote, adding he would instead offer his resignation. The dispute has effectively been …More
A ruling by the Superior Court of Quebec in Canada finds that Cardinal Marc Ouellet was “falsely accused” of sexual assault in connection with a class action against the Archdiocese of Quebec, and he will receive $100,000 in damages, which he will donate to organizations combating the sexual abuse of Indigenous peoples.
Former Curia Cardinal Marc Ouellet has won his defamation lawsuit against Paméla Groleau. She had accused him of sexual assault. Quebec Superior Court Judge Martin Castonguay found her allegations unfounded and ordered her to pay Ouellet C$100,000 (€62,000) in damages. Judge Rejects Accuser’s Account Paméla Groleau, a former pastoral worker, accused the former archbishop of Quebec of inappropriate touching during several encounters between 2008 and 2010. Her main allegation concerned a priestly ordination in 2010, where she claimed Ouellet ran a hand down her back and touched the upper part of her buttocks. Ouellet denied the allegation. At trial, Groleau acknowledged that this was the only incident she considered sexual assault. The judge found her account “neither credible nor reliable,” pointing to changes and inconsistencies in her testimony. Castonguay also noted that Ouellet was holding his episcopal crozier when the alleged contact was said to have occurred. Recklessness Amounting …More

01.09.2026 Mother Teresa priest expelled from Italy : Bible, VC 2 and Catechism attacked in Rome Fr. Stephen Yaw Manu, the Mother Teresa priest who is being expelled from Italy because of his Catholic religious beliefs, could legally ask for his Constitutional Right to freedom of religion and worship and belief. The police indicate that even …More
Cardinal Fernando Chomali, archbishop of Santiago, Chile, recently reflected on this new trend: “‘Aura farming’ is a desperate cry from young people to be seen, heard, valued, loved, and acknowledged. It’s a different version of the ‘therian’ trend [a person who psychologically identifies with an animal], reflecting the same worrying phenomenon: Many young people feel lonely! And, regrettably, little is said about that,” he commented on X. In another post, the cardinal advised young people: “The best way to aura farm is to approach life with hope and joy. I invite you to study assiduously and to prepare your body and soul well to serve others. What better way to aura farm than by thinking big and building a more just country! Aura for and by Chile!” he commented.
