On 17 March (St Patrick’s Day), a liturgical dance was performed during the Eucharist at Clonard Monastery in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Girls from a local dance school processed the offertory gifts to the altar and sprang around it.

We already saw this pattern in my June 23, 2025 piece, Bread Without Doctrine: Leo XIV’s Corpus Christi and the Vanishing Reality of the Eucharist, where I reported that Leo had been turning Eucharistic theology into a language of solidarity, distribution, and communal sharing rather than sacrifice and supernatural reality. Star Wars-themed "Liturgy" in German church: Rev Gerd Neumeier from the Archdiocese of Bamberg, Germany, held a Star Wars-themed church service. He linked the saga’s themes of good versus evil to Christian teachings. The church featured stormtroopers, lightsaber battles, and a “May God’s force be with you” projection. Neumeier dressed as Obi-Wan Kenobi (“Obi-Wan KeNeumeier”), while the service combined adapted prayers, readings, and film music. The priest later said, he felt the service resonated with the congregation.

On Sunday, Cardinal Konrad Krajewski of Łódź, Poland, met with the faithful of the Roman rite at the Chapel of All Saints in Łódź outside of the liturgy. Cardinal Krajewski said he was happy that Catholics could attend Mass in the Roman rite at three locations within the Archdiocese of Łódź. He added that ten priests have been assigned to this pastoral ministry of the Latin Mass under Rev. Paweł Markowski's responsibility. Cardinal Krajewski served as Papal Almoner from 2013 to 2026. On 12 March 2026, Pope Leo XIV appointed him Archbishop of Łódź. April 20 Saint Marcellinus Bishop of Embrun († 374) Saint Marcellinus was born in Africa of a noble family; with two other Christians desiring to evangelize Gaul, Vincent and Domninus, he went to Pope Saint Damasus. The young men were sent to Eusebius, bishop of Verceil, who encouraged them for their mission and announced to them that they would have much to suffer. The three were ordained, and Marcellinus was consecrated bishop of Embrun by Eusebius and the bishop of Valencia. The gift of miracles fortified the preaching of Marcellinus at Embrun, in a region bordering on the Alps, while his companions continued their labors at Digne.
