Bishop Mutsaerts: “Ecclesiastical appointments can be foolish.”
Dutch Auxiliary Bishop Rob Mutsaerts answered the uncomfortable question “How about Rome?” at the Catholic Identity Conference in Pittsburgh on October 3.
“Rome needs reform sometimes too,” he said.
“The Curia is not the Mystical Body of Christ, Vatican diplomacy is not divine revelation, and the dicastery is not protected by the charism of infallibility in every decision. Ecclesiastical appointments can be foolish and bishops can be cowardly and pastoral strategies can fail.”
And: “Catholic loyalty therefore does not require pretending that every decision made in Rome is wise.”
Turning to synodality, Mutsaerts invoked the collapse of Dutch Catholicism: “I’m Dutch and we started this nonsense in the ’60s already.”
His verdict: “Show me the fruits. There aren’t any.”

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, has begun legal action against the British police force that arrested him this year as part of its investigation into his links to Jeffrey Epstein.
Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor, the younger brother of King Charles III, was arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office over accusations that he had shared confidential information with Mr. Epstein, the convicted sex offender. U.S. Harvest Under Water: Pre-Scripted Food Crisis Accelerates as Breadbaskets Fail
Record rains have stalled the U.S. corn and soybean harvest. Grain is sprouting and molding in the field, Europe's yields are down after heat/drought, and Black Sea grain ports are shut. Multiple breadbaskets are failing at once. This is precisely the scenario scripted in the 2015 Food Chain Reaction exercise, and the opening the technocrats want for tighter control of seed, farming, and access to food.

Leo XIV promoted 🌈 Cardinal: “The entire Tradition of the Church must be read in the light of the teaching of the Council."
The traditional spirituality had been built around the image of Christ the King, whereas the Second Vatican Council pointed toward building a spirituality around Christ the Servant, Cardinal Grzegorz Ryś of Kraków said on October 3, according to gosc.pl.
He is a pro-homosexual prelate and was promoted by Pope Leo XIV from Łódź to Kraków in November 2025.
Cardinal Ryś said: “The entire Tradition of the Church must be read in the light of the teaching of the Council. Then we are in the Church. What worries me greatly is the rejection of the Council - today there is no shortage of attitudes that blame the Council for everything.”
He added: “The Council was not a departure from Tradition. It was a return to that current within Tradition which is the oldest and which sets the standard.”

Cardinal McElroy has banned the installation of new Altar rails and discourages temporary kneelers, citing "a disruption of the flow of the Communion line". As you can see here, there is no disruption. Just another garbage excuse to attack the Latin Mass.

I would argue that kneeling and on the tongue is faster and more fluid than standing with Eucharistic minister placing the Eucharist in their dirty hands, stepping to the site, and then placing the host in your own mouth. Two operations as opposed to one so what is he even talking about.

Still, not good enough when they are talking just about "style", concerning these grave, very grave matters.
Call an imperfect council. You're so many years already too late. Or you hope, Ed, that Francis III. will have somehow a bit more catholic style?!

Jane Allen was suffering from anorexia. She traveled to Colorado seeking treatment. Instead, her doctor offered assisted suicide — a prescription for death. Her father intervened just in time. Jane began to heal — eating again, tapering off morphine. The anorexia clinic dropped her, calling her a “liability.” When Jane chose life, her doctors walked away. Assisted suicide isn’t healthcare. It’s preying on the sick and vulnerable.

Yes, communism which NON Russians brought to the people and killed tens of millions of CATHOLICS AND ORTHODOX. Some people ought to take out all the hate from their hearts and their lying and get rid of the ignorance they speak.
What was Sister Lucia concerned about? communism.
What does the Church teach? communism is a sin and evil.
Who did the Saintly Popes reach out to? The Russian Orthodox.
Who did the Russian Orthodox reach out to? Saintly Popes.
Who did most of those Saintly Popes and more condemned fiercely? protestantism.

OCTOBER...
I come to you with a more peaceful heart, with less desire to control life and with a greater desire to be grateful for it.
This month, I don't want to ask for too much.
I only want peace, the kind that doesn't depend on what happens outside, but on the tranquility that God places within.
I want to wake up grateful
for life,
for health,
for my family,
for my home,
for the daily bread,
and for those little blessings
we so often take for granted.
I want to learn to look more at what I have and worry less about what I am still missing.
October, I want to walk slowly, without desperately worrying about what hasn't arrived, without being anxious about what I cannot control,
and without allowing anyone to steal the peace I have worked so hard to find.
God by my side.
That is what I need.
May He guide my steps,
protect my family,
guide my decisions,
and close the doors that are not meant for me.
May He give me the wisdom to accept what I cannot change and the courage to transform …Sateruse

Bishop Schneider: FSSPX Consecrations Do Not Necessarily Constitute "Schism"
Bishop Athanasius Schneider has issued his first public statement since Leo XIV declared six FSSPX bishops excommunicated on July 2, published on Diane Montagna's Substack. Schneider had previously appealed for liturgical peace, meeting with Pope Leo XIV in December 2025 and Cardinal Parolin a little over a week before the July 1 episcopal consecration.
Bishop Schneider's central claim: in an extraordinary Church crisis, fidelity to unambiguous doctrine and traditional liturgy can outweigh obedience to ecclesiastical law.
He opens with St. Athanasius, excommunicated by Pope Liberius in 357 for refusing communion with Arian bishops the Pope himself had recognized under imperial pressure. Athanasius was later canonized as a Doctor of the Church; Liberius was never canonized. Schneider treats Écône as a modern parallel — a forced choice between canonical obedience and doctrinal integrity.
Bishop Schneider blames …Sateruse

The Redemption of Man and the Rejection of “Holy Sex”
A Patristic and Scholastic Disputation Against the Modern Exaltation of Carnal Pleasure
“The first man Adam was made into a living soul; the last Adam into a quickening spirit.”
—1 Corinthians 15:45
Prologue: The Question Before Us
There is a fundamental question which must be asked before we speak of the holiness of sexual pleasure:
What is man?
And immediately after that:
What became of man through the Fall?
For if we begin with fallen man as though his present condition were the standard of human nature, we shall inevitably mistake the wounds of the Fall for the original design of God.
This is precisely the danger in the modern exaltation of sexuality.
The question is no longer merely:
"Is marital intercourse lawful?"
The Catholic tradition already answers that question.
The more profound question is:
"What ought the Christian to desire within the marital act?"
And here a profound difference appears between the ascetical tradition …Sateruse

Only 45% of US Bishops Say Homosexuality Disqualifies from Priesthood
The University of Notre Dame's McGrath Institute for Church Life has published on July 17 a report containing twelve proposals for assessing candidates for the priesthood. Entitled, "Do You Know Them to Be Worthy?", the file was written by Father Thomas V. Berg and psychologist Timothy G. Lock.
The report draws on research commissioned from the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) and a consultation held at Notre Dame in September 2025.
The proposals concern psychological assessment, candidates with particular psychological or developmental conditions, and formation for chastity and celibacy. It addresses candidates with conditions including ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder and autism spectrum disorder.
On homosexual attraction, the Notre Dame authors note that a pause in formation may "more often than not" lead to a decision not to advance a candidate toward ordination.
The authors think the pause …Sateruse

Gloria.tv serves the Church by giving a voice to the faithful and to the truth. That independence comes at a price - quite literally.
Gloria.tv serves its users - readers like you - with its own social-media technology. While editorial websites watch their readership plummet, Gloria.tv is growing and, according to Cloudflare Radar, ranks among the 10,000 largest websites in the world. No other Catholic media outlet ranks there.
But here’s the straight talk: Having lots of users doesn’t pay our bills. There are no ads, and we serve our users for free. That’s how we want it.
Gloria.tv depends on the generosity of a small group of ordinary faithful - many of them pensioners and praying widows. And to be blunt: This project runs on a very small budget. But not on no budget.
That is why this autumn we are asking for your help again.

Leo XIV wants the Church to be an "open house" where "everyone has a place".
Today, Pope Leo XIV published his video message for October. The prayer intention, using the usual buzzwords, is about mental health ministry, calling on the Church to listen without judging and support those who are suffering.
The key phrase is: "May your Church be an open house, a safe space where everyone has a place — a community that accompanies and never excludes; that listens without judging; and that draws near without fear."
