🌈 Leo XIV has named the homosexual activist Michael Saporito, 64, Bishop of Metuchen, New Jersey (September 15).
Monsignor Saporito, 64, is currently auxiliary bishop of Newark.
Institutional Connection to McCarrick
A native of Newark, Saporito entered the McCarrick seminary in 1987. In 1992, Archbishop Theodore McCarrick ordained Saporito to the priesthood.
In 1999, homosexual McCarrick elevated the young Rev Saporito as assistant director of vocations.
Founded Homosexual Ministry in Parish
During Saporito’s tenure as pastor of St. Joseph Church in Maplewood (2004–2011), the parish employed an openly homosexual man as its full-time director of music and liturgy. He said he disclosed the relationship before being hired.
Furthermore, as pastor of St. Joseph, Rev Saporito founded a group for homosexuals called "Open Arms Ministry." A 2011 report noted that the parish's embrace of homosexuals came under Saporito: “Above all, according to parishioners, Saporito - through words and deeds …Дэлгэрэнгүй

“Conservative” Auxiliary Bishop Josef Graf of Regensburg, Germany, can envision ordaining married men to the priesthood.
Monsignor Graf made this remarks during a holiday in San Genesio, South Tyrol, where he also helped with the grape harvest in a local vineyard.
He told Bz-bx.net: “I personally believe that the Church could afford viri probati”.
He added that married priests would probably not solve the shortage of priests.
On the ordination of women to the priesthood, Monsignor Graf said he believes it is “not possible.” He pointed there are “still” weighty theological reasons for reserving Holy Orders to men.

Oddly enough, I can 'envision' waking up and discovering a Church which nurtures vocations by holding to the Faith rather than deviating from it to suit the needs of prelates who should never have been ordained in the first place.

Mature married men have worked out as well in the parishes founded by Anglicans who converted to Catholicism and, of course, historically in the Eastern Churches, so I don't see what people are worrying about. As long as they don't offer ordination to married men under the age of, say, 45 or 50, I think they'd make an excellent and much needed source of new priests.

Leo XIV appoints military bishop who wants to “make a different Church”, and is open to female deacons and Communion for homosexuals.
On September 14, Leo XIV has appointed Bishop Pedro Luis Fuentes Valencia, 58, as Military Ordinary for Bolivia.
The Passionist bishop has served as apostolic administrator of the Military Ordinary since 2022, alongside his duties as auxiliary bishop of La Paz.
Fuentes represented the Bolivian bishops at both sessions of the Synod on Synodality in Rome in 2023 and 2024.
"Synodality Is Nature of Church"
In October 2023 he spoke of having “the courage to build a different kind of church”.
In June 2024, he defined synodality as “the very nature of the Church”.
In July 2024, he repeated: “The Synod on Synodality is a way of being the Church.” And: “This is the Church’s identity: listening to one another, sharing, walking together, maturing together, growing together,”

In October 2023, Monsignor Fuentes spoke about Holy Communion for adulterers and those “not in full communion with the church”.
According to Ceb.bo this included “the situation of the LGBT community”.
Bishop Fuentes said: “This remains under debate, and the issue is still open. But to enter into Communion, one must reflect on one’s life—not so much in a moralistic sense, but in terms of what it means to be a Christian, for that is the direction we are heading in: what it means to be baptized and to be a follower of the Lord.”

Here is an example of what I mean: the Pope has appointed a new bishop for Terni, Italy—in addition to appointing the infamous Bishop Saporito to the See of Metuchen. Here is what the traditionalist blog *Messainlatino* says about him:
"Our sources inform us that the appointment of Monsignor Alfonso Raimo—currently Auxiliary Bishop of Salerno-Campagna-Acerno—as the new Bishop of Terni-Narni-Amelia will be announced shortly.
We understand that he is the rector of the Church of San Giorgio Martire in Salerno, where the traditional Holy Mass is celebrated and where he has also delivered homilies, and that he holds 'orthodox' positions regarding doctrine."
I am certain that Gloria.tv will publish an article defaming this bishop, claiming he said something "synodal," met with Protestants, or something similar. This amounts to discrediting the Church. Saporito is a heretic; Raimo is not. Yet for Gloria.tv and its followers, both are trash; this is lying and defamation.

Emmanuel Macron’s request to accompany Leo XIV for a few minutes inside Notre-Dame Cathedral was not accepted by the Holy See, La Croix reports.
This reflects a wider disagreement over the papal visit. Several requests from the Élysée were refused: the military welcome will be reduced, avoiding the Republican Guard and its drums; the Holy See declined the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour; and there will be no state lunch or dinner with Macron.

Leo XIV Approves Maronite Archbishop of Damascus
Today, Pope Leo XIV has approved the election of Sharbel Ghattas Maroun as the new Maronite Catholic archbishop of Damascus. A Lebanese-born priest, he has spent much of his ministry in the United States.
Archbishop Maroun, 64, was elected by the Synod of Bishops of the Maronite Church. He succeeds Archbishop Samir Nassar, 76, whose resignation was accepted by the synod.
Since 2020, Maroun has served as protosyncellus, a senior position comparable to vicar general, of the Maronite Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon of Los Angeles.
Born January 6, 1962, in Kfarselwan, Lebanon, Maroun briefly worked for Crédit Libanais bank.

Archbishop Aldo Cavalli, 79, a former Apostolic Nuncio and the Apostolic Visitor for the parish of Medjugorje, administered Confirmation to two young Irish Travellers in the Adoration Chapel in Medjugorje, reports David Murgia on IlSegnoDiGiona. According to pictures, the women wore inappropriate short white pyjamas. Murgia says the outfits reflect festive dress customary in the Irish Traveller community. He claims to have verified the circumstances through multiple sources and that the photographs are authentic.

@Boanerges Boanerges You probably have never been in Medjugorje. The chapel is very recognizable as the "adoration chapel"; no doubt at all. The photo is authentic. Mgr. Cavalli is a "believer" of the synodal church and according to this "church" one should adept foreign cultural elements of other groups into the liturgy.... Israeli Settler Who Attacked French Catholic Nun Acquitted
The Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court has acquitted Yona Simcha Schreiber, 36, of criminal responsibility for a violent attack on a French Catholic nun in April.
The court accepted psychiatric evidence that he was psychotic at the time of the assault. He could neither understand the nature of his actions nor control them, the court ruled.
He was ordered to undergo compulsory psychiatric hospitalization for up to six years.
The attack occurred on Mount Zion, near King David’s Tomb outside Jerusalem’s Old City. Security footage showed Schreiber running toward the 48-year-old nun from behind and knocking her violently to the ground, causing her head to strike the stone pavement.
Schreiber initially walked away before returning and kicking the nun while she remained on the ground. He also assaulted a passerby who attempted to intervene.
The victim is a researcher at the Dominican-run École Biblique et Archéologique Française de Jérusalem. …Дэлгэрэнгүй

Leo XIV Accepts Secularised Mitre as Gift: Rev. Tom McCarthy, a Chicago priest and fellow Augustinian, gave Leo XIV a Chicago White Sox “Pope Hat” at the Vatican. The mitre-shaped hat was originally produced en masse by the Chicago White Sox baseball team as a giveaway for their August 11 game. mRNA ‘VACCINES’ IN YOUR MEAT AND DAIRY?
Livestock are now being injected or fed experimental gene tech — and it’s hitting your dinner plate UNLABELED. For years, Big Food and Big Pharma have been quietly rolling out mRNA platforms in cattle, pigs, poultry, and even farmed fish and shrimp. Companies like Tyson, JBS, Cargill, Smithfield, Zoetis (Pfizer spin-off), Merck Animal Health, and major dairy co-ops are either already using or trialing these experimental gene therapies under the guise of “disease prevention” or “sustainability.”
No mandatory labeling. No consumer warning. Your steak, milk, cheese, eggs, or bacon could contain proteins produced by this tech — and you’d never know. This isn’t traditional vaccination. It’s experimental mRNA that instructs animal cells to produce foreign proteins. Long-term human health effects? Unknown. Potential for unintended spike-like protein expression, immune disruption, or transfer through the food chain? The …Дэлгэрэнгүй
