Today in his meeting with civil authorities and the diplomatic corps in Spain, Leo XIV portrayed the oppressive Islamic occupation of Spain (711-1492) as place of confrontation, but also of dialogue and encounter between religions: “The presence of Islam on the Iberian Peninsula, for example, constituted a long-standing political, cultural, and religious reality. During that period, there was not only confrontation, but also an attempt to create a space for contact, conversation and dialogue on the meaning of truth among Christians, Muslims and Jews. At the School of Translators enhanced by Alfonso X (the Wise), experts from all three religions collaborated on translating the texts of the rich Arabic, Greek and Hebrew heritage, contributing to the dissemination of texts such as those of the philosophers Averroes (1126-1198) and Maimonides (1138-1204), among others. The cities of Córdoba and Toledo, in particular, became centers of dialogue between languages, religions and knowledge. …Күбрәк
Throughout the week, you wake up early, prepare meals, organize the house, solve problems, take care of your loved ones, and do everything possible to make sure nothing is lacking. Many times, you end the day tired, yet you keep going because you love your family. That’s why, when Sunday arrives, remember that you also have the right to rest. Not because cooking is a bad thing, nor because taking care of your loved ones is a burden. On the contrary. But someone who is always giving also needs a moment to regain their strength. Before all else on Sunday, first go to church. Go for a walk if you feel like it. Visit someone you care about. Read a book. Sit quietly for a while. Breathe without looking at the clock. Give yourself a few hours to do something that makes you feel good. The meal can be simpler for a day. The house does not have to be perfect every minute. And your family can also help and learn to handle some things on their own. Sometimes women become so accustomed to taking …Күбрәк
On 17 May, Ukrainian FEMEN activist Inna Shevchenko, 35, staged a performance at the neo-Gothic St Elisabeth's Church in Vienna, Austria. The event was part of the 2025 Vienna Festival Weeks (Wiener Festwochen), which had a pagan theme entitled "Republic of Gods". Shevchenko has campaigned for abortion, homosexuality and blasphemy, usually half-naked. In 2012, she cut down a large wooden cross in Kyiv. In October 2025, Pope Leo XIV appointed Josef Grünwidl as Archbishop of Vienna. He was widely regarded as one of the most liberal priests in the archdiocese. Shevchenko Presents "New Form of Liturgy" At St Elisabeth's Church, Shevchenko was dressed in black. She presented what the organisers described as a 'new form of liturgy'. The event was even advertised as an "alternative Mass". Standing before the altar, Shevchenko asked, "Who speaks?" A women's choir responded, "Woman." She then wrote the word 'Woman' on a sign, held it aloft and began a speech centred on her interpretation of …Күбрәк
Sermons of St. John Chrysostom, Dearly beloved brethren, it behoveth us to learn the miracle of the Mysteries what the Gift is, and why It was given, and what is the use thereof. “We, being many, are one body,” saith [the Apostle Paul, 1 Cor. x. 17, and again] “We are members of His Body, of His Flesh, and of His Bones.” Eph. v. 30. Only the initiated will now understand what I say. That this union may take place, not by love only, but verily and indeed, we ought to mingle our own with His Flesh. And this is done by eating that Food Which He hath given unto us, being fain to manifest that exceeding great love which He beareth to us-ward. To this end He hath mingled Himself with us, and infused His Body into our bodies, that we may be one together, like as the limbs of a man and his head are all of one body. Such union do they long for that love much

If the blockage of the Strait of Hormuz continues, the world will need to function on the same amount of oil as it did in 2010. 1) How fierce is the spiritual battle? a) Daniel 10:13-14 "The prince of the kingdom of Persia has been resisting me for twenty-one days, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to my assistance. I have left him confronting the kings of Persia and have come to tell you what will happen to your people in the days to come”. b) 1 Corinthians 15:30–32; Why do we put ourselves in danger all the time? Every day I face death—yes, brothers and sisters! My glory lies in Christ Jesus our Lord, for every day I face the danger of death. I fought against the beasts in Ephesus for the sake of humanity. c) Acts 19:13-16 “Some itinerant Jewish exorcists also tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, ‘I adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches.’ There were seven sons of a certain Jewish high priest named Sceva who did this. But the evil spirit answered them, ‘I know Jesus, and I know who Paul is, but who are you?’ And the man possessed by the evil spirit …Күбрәк
"Yes, the AI takeover is in high gear, as is the planned depopulation effort, and the melding of machine and man as one in the new transhumanism one-world governing system. Current biometrics is just the beginning, but a more thorough and invasive structure will need to be built. While digital ID, smart phones, and other forms of identification and tracking are already in place, this is just the beginning. At some point, when a more universal plan will need to take shape, will it include more sophisticated surveillance, monitoring, and data collection? Will it include human alterations, chip implants, or more? I believe this is a foregone conclusion. Even though it is difficult to imagine, this insanity is growing and advancing by compounded degrees, and given what is already known, the implications of this AI takeover are unbelievably immense. Already, job losses are huge, displacement of workers is fast-paced, and this can only set up the drive toward universal income, total asset …Күбрәк
Gary D. Barnett | garydbarnett.substack.com “Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.”~ Frank Herbert, Dune What has happened to this world in which we live? How can it be fully explained, when it is constantly changing while being decimated without fail? Some choose to bypass critical thinking and individuality in favor of dependence on outside forces, whether religion, false ‘leaders,’ controlled media, or government. As far as is known, we all have but this one life to live, and regardless of beliefs or spirituality, regardless of any articles of ‘faith’ that one may possess, nothing is actually known for certain about the essence and meaning of life. Therefore, harmony among us is vital to our own existence, if humanity is to survive, and at this time, mass division and hate have consumed the majority. This has all been by premeditated design. We, as a society, …

Prayer, worthily utilizing the Sacraments and Penance are all the needed spiritual food for the soul and journey in the great test of every person in the world and Church.
June 8 Saint William Of York. breski1 Jun 8, 2010 (d. 1154) A disputed election as archbishop of York and a mysterious death. Those are the headlines from the tragic life of today's saint. Born into a powerful family in 12th-century England, William seemed destined for great things. His uncle was next in line for the English throne—though a nasty dynastic struggle complicated things. William himself faced an internal Church feud. Despite these roadblocks, he was nominated as archbishop of York in 1140. Local clergymen were less enthusiastic, however, and the archbishop of Canterbury refused to consecrate William. Three years later a neighboring bishop performed the consecration, but it lacked the approval of Pope Innocent II, whose successors likewise withheld approval. William was deposed and a new election was ordered. It was not until 1154—14 years after he was first nominated—that William became archbishop of York. When he entered the city that spring after years of exile, he …Күбрәк
