Leo XIV Appoints Indian Bishop Practicing Indigenous Adivasi Rites: Today, Pope Leo XIV has appointed the indigenious Bishop Albert Hemrom, 57, as Coadjutor Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Guwahati, India. It seems that the Cardinal has not taken the long view of the situation. The fact that the Synodal process mutes dissenting voices is exactly what it was designed to do.
